StdioX is a technology company. We design and build software infrastructure that powers how African businesses communicate, transact, and grow — at any scale, in any market.
The problems we work on are real and urgent: fragmented payment systems, unreliable communications, customer relationships managed in WhatsApp threads and paper notebooks. We believe world-class engineering — not workarounds — is how you solve them.
Our products are built for the realities of African markets: mobile-first users, M-Pesa as a primary payment rail, multilingual customers, and businesses that move fast without IT departments. We write the software so they don't have to.
What we build
A complete business communications platform. WhatsApp, SMS and email unified in one dashboard, with an AI assistant that answers customers, collects M-Pesa payments inside conversations, and maintains a full CRM — without requiring any technical setup.
The same infrastructure that powers Comms is available as a developer API — letting any product in Africa send messages, trigger payments, and manage contacts with a single integration.
Assistants that understand the context of African commerce: Swahili and Sheng, M-Pesa flows, price list queries, appointment bookings, and the thousands of small interactions that previously required a human to handle.
Our position
Africa has the fastest-growing base of mobile internet users in the world. Most of them are already on WhatsApp. Most of them already use mobile money. The infrastructure to build on top of that is what has been missing.
StdioX exists to close that gap — with software that is genuinely excellent, not merely adequate for the market. We are based in Nairobi and building for the continent.
